Carpe Diem
My new life post college motto.
My new life post college motto.
i wish i had more motivation to update this blog!!!!!!!!!!! i’m blaming graduate school as the root of this problem.
The temperatures in Costa Rica are cooler than the United States. Granted, rain is scheduled to pour every day at the stroke of 1:30pm, but I’m ready to hike a volcano and zipline in a tropical island rather than sit in my air conditioned house in Illinois. So not excited for the massive and plentiful bugs that reside there, but definitely excited for a week of straight up relaxing and getting my tan and rainforest adventuring on.
T-4 days!
Yep, I’m bringing back my blog. And what a good way to end my two month hiatus with a little old school Harry Potter, in honor of this past weekend. Considering I’ve already seen HP7p2 twice (midnight 2D, of course and then again in 3D today), it seems obvious to show more love for it on the world wide web.

I guess this is what happens when too many people are avoiding studying for finals and attempting to download Wiz Khalifa.
One of those people is me, and now I’ll have to resort back to Florence & the Machine as study music… with only two finals left in my undergraduate career, how am I supposed to focus!?
Cutest.thing.ever. I wanna go back to being a kid.
I know I’ve been slacking on the blog updates - I have soo much backlogged to write on here! Don’t worry, there will be a solid update soon, seeing as today is my last day of my undergraduate career (OMGOMGOMG, i’m actually updating in my very last class ever). I’ve been more concerned with trying to squish my senioritis then browse blogs for endless hours. However, today I found this image, and it definitely struck a cord - one of my goals for this summer is to travel as much as I can before I am subject to two years of minimal vacation time during my graduate school program.
Although I might not make it overseas, there’s no issue with traveling within the United States. I plan on reuniting with my study abroad friends in upstate New York, gambling away my non-existent cash flow in Las Vegas, and of course making routine trips back to my second home here in Champaign. Maybe even trekking to Bonnaroo? Now that would be aweeeesome.
See you soon, summer 2011.

Free download errbody! Also, I’ve made it a life goal to make it to Coachella as soon as possible… I’m already ready for Lollapalooza in August, and wishing I had the funds for Bonnaroo, Summer Camp, Pitchfork, etc… ahh bring me summer music festivals!
